Yes, all forms of currency are accepted! In fact, most students set up an online fundraising page with their parents to reach their personal fundraising goals even faster.
How do I set up my child's online fundraising page?
First, visit our school finder page and search for your child's school. Select your child's school from the search results. Select "Join a School Team," or if your child's classroom has set up its own page, select "Join Classroom Team." Create a new account or log-in using your username & password and personalize your child's page. For assistance setting up your child's page please call 888-557-7177 or customersupport@lls.org
What resources do The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society provide schools for participating in Hero Squad?
Schools who partner with us receive our free STEM+ Curriculum to implement into their classrooms, dedicated social & emotional learning (SEL) materials and activities and are eligible to receive gift cards for school supplies. Additionally, any school with a student or family affected by a blood cancer is offered free access to our Trish Greene Back to School Program.
What can my child earn by participating in Hero Squad?
In order to help students develop goal-setting, self-motivation and organizational skills, we offer fun Hero Gear for them to earn at various fundraising levels. Every piece of Hero Gear has a story behind it that connects back to the lifesaving Mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Who should I make checks out to?
All checks can be made payable to “The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society” sent to the school during the fundraising period. The volunteer coordinator at your school will process all checks during their Wrap Up process.
